Print the set cards

First frame of every set is the card. SetTag recognises it and switches to that set. A barcode scanner or manual selection works too.
Everything after is tagged
Each file that lands in the capture folder gets the set's metadata written into it. Nobody touches a keyboard again.

The metadata is in the file, not the filename
IPTC/XMP written inside CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, RW2, ORF, DNG, JPEG, TIFF, HEIC. Rename, move, re-export, it travels with the frame.

The questions studios actually ask
Does it change our RAW files?
It writes IPTC/XMP metadata into the file, the same fields Lightroom and Bridge write. The image data is untouched. Want to see it happen before you trust it? Point the watch folder at a copy of a finished shoot and compare.
We already use Capture One. Does this replace it?
No. SetTag watches the folder Capture One is already writing to. Your tethering, your sessions and your presets stay exactly as they are.
What if a set changes halfway through the day?
Edit the set and carry on, or activate a different one, by card, by scanner, or by hand. The frames already shot keep the metadata they were given.
Can we run it on a real shoot before we buy?
Yes. Download and run the app on a real shoot. A licence key switches tagging on, ask us for one for a shoot day and see what comes out the other end.
Our freelancers bring their own machines. Now what?
Prep is free, so anyone can build a shoot. For tagging on their own machine they need a seat, which is exactly what team licensing is for, ask about a floating pool.
Is it macOS only?
The app runs on macOS. The metadata it writes is readable everywhere, Windows Explorer, Lightroom Classic, Bridge, and any DAM that reads IPTC.
